Japan Special Re-entry Permit: Nepal जाँदा Residence Card Holder ले के गर्ने?

Japan मा valid passport र residence card लिएर बसिरहेका foreign residentले छोटो समयका लागि Nepal गएर फेरि Japan फर्कने योजना बनाउँदा धेरै caseमा Special Re-entry Permission (みなし再入国許可) प्रयोग गर्न सक्छन्। तर “एक वर्षभित्र फर्के पुग्छ” मात्र सम्झनु पर्याप्त छैन: तपाईंको current period of stay पहिले expire हुन्छ भने return deadline त्यही earlier date हुन्छ। Departure airportमा re-entry intention सही रूपमा देखाउनु अत्यावश्यक छ।

Special re-entry permission के हो?

Valid passport र residence card भएको mid-to-long-term residentले Japan छोडेको मितिबाट एक वर्षभित्र—वा आफ्नो period of stay expiry, जुन पहिले आउँछ—फर्कने अवस्थामा advanceमा Regional Immigration Office गएर ordinary re-entry permit लिनु नपर्ने व्यवस्था हो। Departure controlमा re-entry ED cardमा “Japan फर्कने” intention indicate गरेर passport र residence card प्रस्तुत गरिन्छ।

पहिलो निर्णय: तपाईं कहिले फर्कनुहुन्छ?

• एक वर्षभित्र र residence status expiry अगाडि: special re-entry सम्भव हुन सक्छ।
• एक वर्षभन्दा लामो absence: departure अघि ordinary re-entry permit विचार गर्नुहोस्।
• Residence status केही महिनामै expire हुन्छ: one-year rule होइन, expiry dateभन्दा अगाडि फर्कनुपर्छ।

उदाहरण: August 1 मा Japan छोड्दै हुनुहुन्छ र residence period December 15 मा expire हुन्छ भने special re-entryको practical last date December 15भन्दा अगाडि हो—अर्को वर्ष August 1 होइन। Airline cancellation, illness वा passport delayको buffer राखेर travel plan बनाउनुहोस्।

Departure अघि checklist

1. Passport return dateसम्म valid छ कि जाँच्ने।
2. Residence card र period of stay expiry जाँच्ने।
3. Pending renewal/change application छ भने travel impact Immigrationसँग सोध्ने।
4. School वा employerलाई absence/return plan बताउने।
5. Tax, insurance, rent र phone billsका automatic payments मिलाउने।
6. Japanको address कायम छ कि moving-out notification दिएको छ भन्ने स्पष्ट गर्ने।
7. Return flightमा पर्याप्त time buffer राख्ने।
8. Passport/residence cardका encrypted digital copies सुरक्षित राख्ने।

Airportमा ED card कसरी handle गर्ने?

Departure control अघि re-entry/departure ED card उपलब्ध हुन्छ। Japan फर्कने plan भए special re-entry permission प्रयोग गर्ने intention देखाउने appropriate box/section चयन गर्नुहोस्। Formको wording update हुन सक्छ, त्यसैले airport staffको latest instruction follow गर्नुहोस्। Immigration officerलाई passport र residence card दुवै दिनुहोस् र card फिर्ता आएको verify गर्नुहोस्।
