JLPT, BJT र Skills जोडेर Japan Career Roadmap कसरी बनाउने?

JLPT, BJT र Skills जोडेर Japan Career Roadmap कसरी बनाउने? – BJT Master

सही strategy: Language × Skill × Evidence × Job Search। एउटा शून्य भए overall result कमजोर हुन्छ।

पहिले target role छान्नुहोस्

Exam level लक्ष्य बनाउनु अघि 10 target job descriptions पढ्नुहोस्। हरेकमा required Japanese, technical tools, experience, salary र visa-compatible duties note गर्नुहोस्। त्यसपछि repeated requirements count गर्नुहोस्।

  • IT: programming stack, Git, cloud, requirements communication
  • Accounting: bookkeeping, Excel, Japanese accounting terms, deadlines
  • Hotel/tourism: keigo, complaint handling, reservation systems, multilingual support
  • Office/sales: email, phone, proposal, CRM, negotiation and reporting
  • Manufacturing engineering: CAD, drawing, quality tools, safety vocabulary
  • Care/SSW: field qualification/test, practical communication and safety

“कुन exam लोकप्रिय छ?” होइन, “मेरो target roleको bottleneck के हो?” सोध्नुहोस्।

चार career stages

Stage 1: Foundation — N4/N3 आसपास

Goal: daily life, instructions र basic workplace interaction सुरक्षित बनाउने। Focus areas:

  • Core grammar/vocabularyको spaced repetition
  • Shift, safety, attendance र reporting vocabulary
  • 聞き返し: नबुझे politely repeat/confirm गर्ने
  • One employable skillको foundation course
  • Daily 3-line work/study journal Japaneseमा

Evidence: छोटो self-introduction video, basic email samples, course project र accurate attendance/work records।

Stage 2: Employability — N2 target

Goal: job description बुझ्ने, interview दिने, manuals पढ्ने र supervised professional work गर्ने। N2लाई certificate मात्र नबनाई यी outputs जोड्नुहोस्:

  • Japanese CV (履歴書) र detailed work history (職務経歴書)
  • Three STAR achievement stories
  • Industry vocabulary deck, 500–1000 high-frequency terms
  • One complete portfolio project with Japanese explanation
  • Weekly mock interview and business email practice

धेरै international/office rolesमा N2 screening signal हुन सक्छ, तर employer requirement companyअनुसार फरक हुन्छ। N2 पास नभए पनि practical ability strong हुन सक्छ; pass भए पनि speaking/email कमजोर हुन सक्छ। Gapलाई evidenceले address गर्नुहोस्।

Stage 3: Business performance — BJT

BJTको उपयोग तब बढी हुन्छ जब तपाईंले general Japanese foundation बनाइसक्नुभएको छ र meetings, emails, charts, negotiation, honorifics, implied intent र business decision contexts सुधार्न चाहनुहुन्छ। Score लक्ष्यसँगै task targets राख्नुहोस्:

  • 5-minute progress report बिना script
  • Complaint emailको polite, actionable reply
  • Meeting notesबाट tasks, owner र deadline निकाल्ने
  • Chart/dataबाट 3 business insights Japaneseमा भन्न सक्ने
  • Bad-news reporting: fact, impact, action, request structure

BJT scoreलाई CVमा dateसहित लेख्नुहोस् र interviewमा practical example जोड्नुहोस्। Score एक्लै promotion guarantee होइन।

Stage 4: Advanced specialization — N1 + domain depth

N1 advanced reading/listening, nuanced vocabulary र many professional contextsका लागि strong foundation हो। तर N1पछि फेरि “अब के पढ्ने?” समस्या आउन सक्छ। Solution: target domainको authentic materials।

  • IT: specifications, incident reports, architecture reviews
  • Finance: financial statements, tax/accounting guidance, audit notes
  • HR/legal support: policies, labor documents, compliance memos
  • Sales/marketing: proposals, market reports, customer interviews
  • Engineering: technical standards, drawings, quality reports

Advanced stageमा exam scoreभन्दा decisions, writing quality, leadership communication र measurable business impactले promotion सम्भावना बढाउँछ।

Time कम भए सबै क्षेत्रमा random 15 minutes नगरी two-week focus blocks बनाउनुहोस्। उदाहरण: weekday language, weekend project; अर्को fortnight interview/email।

Portfolio कसरी बनाउने?

Portfolio designer/engineerका लागि मात्र होइन। Confidentiality तोड्न नपर्ने गरी role-specific evidence बनाउन सकिन्छ:

  • IT: GitHub project, README Japaneseमा, test/demo
  • Accounting: sample monthly close workbook with dummy data
  • Hotel: multilingual guest guide and complaint-response scenarios
  • Sales: fictional market-entry proposal and call report
  • HR: onboarding checklist and bilingual policy summary
  • Manufacturing: sample QC analysis using anonymized/dummy data

Skill gap calculator

Target jobका 10 repeated requirementsलाई 0–3 score दिनुहोस्:

  • 0 = knowledge छैन
  • 1 = course/reading मात्र
  • 2 = guided project वा limited work use
  • 3 = independent work + evidence/result

सबैभन्दा धेरै repeated तर score 0–1 भएका top three requirements अर्को 90-day planका priorities हुन्। JLPT पनि एउटै requirement हो; entire plan होइन।

90-day job-ready sprint

  1. Days 1–30: Target roles analyze, language diagnostic, CV draft, one project scope।
  2. Days 31–60: Project build, weekly speaking, 10 business emails, STAR stories।
  3. Days 61–90: Portfolio publish, mock interviews, tailored applications, feedback loop।

Every Friday metrics review गर्नुहोस्: study hours होइन, completed timed sets, speaking recordings, project features, applications र interview feedback।

Common mistakes

  • N1 पर्खेर skill/project सुरु नगर्नु।
  • BJTलाई JLPTको simple “next level” ठान्नु।
  • Certificate धेरै, portfolio शून्य बनाउनु।
  • Generic CV सबै companiesमा पठाउनु।
  • Speaking डरले reading मात्र पढ्नु।
  • Visa-compatible duties नहेरी course/job छान्नु।
  • Fake results वा exaggerated fluency लेख्नु।

Career roadmap checklist

  • □ One target role and two backup roles selected
  • □ Ten job descriptions analyzed
  • □ Current JLPT/business Japanese diagnostic completed
  • □ Top three technical gaps identified
  • □ One portfolio project underway
  • □ Weekly speaking and email practice scheduled
  • □ Japanese CV and STAR stories drafted
  • □ 90-day application milestone set

FAQ

N2 कि BJT पहिले?

Target jobले N2 screening माग्छ र foundation कमजोर छ भने N2 प्राथमिक हुन सक्छ। Already N2-level reading/listening छ तर workplace communication कमजोर छ भने BJT/business tasks उपयोगी हुन सक्छन्। दुवैसँग skill evidence समानान्तर चलाउनुहोस्।

N1 बिना good job पाइँदैन?

Blanket rule होइन। Role, company, skill scarcity र communication needअनुसार requirement फरक हुन्छ। N1 strong signal हुन सक्छ, तर job-specific skill र interview performance अझै आवश्यक हुन्छ।

BJT scoreले visa मिल्छ?

Language score मात्रले work status eligibility तय गर्दैन। Duties, education/experience, employer र immigration criteria अलग जाँचिन्छन्।

Bottom line: Examलाई destination होइन checkpoint बनाउनुहोस्। JLPTले foundation, BJTले business context, skillले value र portfolioले proof दिन्छ। चारैलाई जोड्दा career roadmap वास्तविक हुन्छ।
